Arrival Day: Pick Up From Airport
Welcome to Tanzania. Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro airport your English-speaking guide will meet you and transport you to your hotel in Arusha. There you can take the time to rest from your trip and get ready to start exploring tomorrow. Your exclusive private safari benefits you from receiving the expert guidance of a travel expert in real-time and also allows you to be in-charge of your itinerary. Whether you’re an early bird or you would like to sleep-in late you can communicate your desires to your guide so he will be able to provide you with the complete experience in the timetable you desire.
Day 2: Arusha
After breakfast your guide will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and head to Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive. The drive to the gate will take approximately 2 hours. Along the way you will take in the scenic views of the grassland plains speckled with the ancient baobab trees, traditional Maasai houses, and cattle being herded by the nomadic people. You will see all that natural treasures of the Tarangire National Park: the largest concentration of African elephants in Tanzania, the huge ancient baobab trees against the impossibly blue sky, tree climbing pythons, lions, leopards and cheetah. After a picnic lunch in midday, you will resume your game drive until late afternoon and then drive to your hotel or lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.


Day 3: Manyara National Park
You'll depart from Arusha after breakfast and begin the drive to Lake Manyara National Park. The journey will take approximately two hours to reach the unique and majestic scenery of the Manyar Lake. The park is truly a photographer's playground and offers amazing game viewing. You can expect to see many of Africa's most well-known animals like giraffes, zebras, hippos, warthogs and tree-climbing lions lounging and chilling on acacia trees. Bird-watchers will find Lake Manyara is an absolute delight, with a huge variety of birds on display in the park. Even the novice can expect to be amazed by large flamingo flocks, circling birds of prey, and the brightly coloured lilac breasted roller.

Day 5, 6 & 7: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast you will start your drive to Serengeti National Park. Perhaps the most famous African national park with its stunning landscapes often seen as the backdrop to some of the world’s best nature documentaries. The Serengeti’s endless plains and abundance of wildlife are unsurpassed. The annual Great Wildebeest Migration with more than a million migrating wildebeest, zebras and gazelles is a true wonder to behold. You will be able to spot lions, elephants, waterbucks, hippos, hyenas, wildebeest herds, golden jackals, antelopes and gazelles all basking in their natural habitat.

Day 4: Tarangire National Park

Day 8: Ngorongoro Conservation area
After breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater to view wildlife. Because of its natural beauty, the Ngorongoro Crater is chosen as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. The crater is a very important refuge for huge variety of wildlife and home to big herds of wildebeest, zebras, Thomson and grant gazelles, hippopotamus, African cape buffalos, prides of lions, hyenas, serval cats, golden and black-backed jackals, and close to 400 species of birds. The endangered black rhino also has the Ngorongoro Crater as it's home. In midday, you will have a picnic lunch at the base of the crater and do another game drive until late afternoon. This is one of the best places to spot all of Africa’s Big Five. There is a wide range of additional activities to do in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area if you are interested, including visiting a traditional Masai village.


Day 9: Volunteer at a local school
Today you will volunteer at a local school were you will bring your knowledge and skills to eager kids by teaching them English, math or science and assist with extracurricular activities like sport and art.
Rural schools in Tanzania are very vibrant places with pupils extremely willing to learn. Don't worry if you feel your strengths lie outside these areas - the children you teach will benefit from your enthusiasm and your ability to construct sentences in English. Games and sports are another important part of school life, so please be prepared to get involved with these as well.
In the afternoon you will have nothing but time for each other on one of the most romantic spots of Northern Tanzania. This is a chance to rest for the next part of your trip in Zanzibar.
Day 10, 11 & 12: Zanzibar
The last part of your trip is for rest, relaxation and revitalisation. Get ready to unwind and enjoy the laid-back beach life on the tropical Zanzibar Island. Your driver will drive you to the airport to board your flight to Zanzibar. Miles and miles of white sandy beaches dotted with palm trees await you surrounded by the clear azure water of the Indian Ocean. Enjoy the final days of your Tanzania trip at your own leisure. Explore the amazing coral reefs and swim among thousands of colourful tropical fish. Grab a surfboard and hit the waves or simply lay back and chill in the sun with a coconut or cocktail in hand.

Day 13 & 14: Zanzibar Stone Town & Safari Blue
Zanzibar offers a colorful culture and history and there is a lot to do for everyone. You can visit a spice farm and learn how spices, herbs and fruits grow and used as medicine. The old Stone Town is the historical centre of Zanzibar and an amazing mix of Food lovers and culture enthusiasts can visit interesting cultural places like Sultan’s Palace, the House of Wonders, the Slave Market and Darajani or Forodhani food markets. You can even visit the deserted Prison island that was once used as a place where slaves were detained. Nowadays the island is a place to relax at the lovely white beach. It is ideal for snorkeling, swimming or sunbathing. You can also see the old prison ruins and about hundred giant land tortoise. You can enjoy the natural beauty of Zanzibar on a traditional wooden sailboat (dhow) by taking the Safari Blue experience. Visit 3 beautiful islands where you can swim, snorkel and enjoy a delicious barbecue. Another popular snorkeling trip is to Mnemba Atoll, one of the most beautiful snorkel spots in Zanzibar.
Day 15: Zanzibar - Departure
Today will be at leisure to relax or explore, depending on your flight. Your driver will transfer you to Zanzibar Airport for your departure flight. You will reach back home on day 11.
